FAQ

Common Questions

What's your cancellation policy?

We offer full refunds for cancellations made 48+ hours before your tour. Cancellations within 48 hours receive a 50% refund. No-shows are non-refundable. Weather-related cancellations by us are fully refunded or rescheduled.

Do you pick up from cruise ships?

Yes! We pick up directly at the Hilo cruise terminal and guarantee return 1-2 hours before your ship's all-aboard time. Just provide your ship name and port schedule when booking.

What should I bring on the tour?

We recommend comfortable walking shoes, layers (volcano areas can be cool), sunscreen, and a camera. We provide bottled water on all tours. For snorkeling tours, we provide all gear.

Are your tours suitable for children?

Absolutely! Our tours are family-friendly and we love sharing Hawaiian culture with keiki (children). Child rates apply for ages 3-11. Children under 3 are free but must sit on a guardian's lap.

What if it rains?

Tours operate rain or shine, and honestly, Hilo's famous rainbows happen because of the rain! We always have backup plans and know the best spots for any weather. Heavy rain often means the waterfalls are even more spectacular.
