Meet the ʻohana sharing our love for the Big Island
Our Story
At Hannah Kealoha Adventures, our story began long before our first tour. It began with island families who believed Hawaiʻi's beauty should be shared with others. From Kona's fishing villages to Hilo's misty forests, our ancestors taught us that every tide, trail, and volcanic cliff carries a story. Sharing those stories is our privilege and our responsibility.
For generations, our ʻohana has lived, worked, and explored the Big Island. What started as a simple family tradition of guiding friends slowly grew into our company today. Over time, we became a trusted local tour provider known for personal, meaningful experiences. Even as we grow, our core value stays the same: we treat every guest like family.
We believe the best way to experience Hawaiʻi is through the eyes of locals. Our guides call the Big Island home and carry cultural knowledge, personal stories, and a deep love for the land.
When you stand on the rim of Kīlauea, watch the sunrise at Mauna Kea, or listen to legends beside hidden waterfalls, you're not just on a tour. You're seeing Hawaiʻi the way we see it.
Our Mission
Our mission is to create experiences that are immersive, responsible, and filled with aloha. We aim to make every tour meaningful, educational, and enjoyable. We keep our groups small, our schedules flexible, and our approach personal. We want our guests to feel connected, not rushed. Every moment should feel warm, welcoming, and unforgettable.
Our Vision
Our vision is to uplift our community by being a model of responsible, locally rooted tourism. We hope to inspire visitors to love and respect the land as we do. We work toward a future where tourism supports local families, preserves culture, and protects Hawaiʻi's natural beauty. We envision a Big Island where visitors and residents thrive together.
Our Values
Caring for the land is part of who we are. Guided by the Hawaiian value of mālama ʻāina (to care for the land), we follow eco-friendly practices every day. We support local farmers, small businesses, and conservation efforts. We continually look for ways to reduce our impact. Our goal is simple: keep the Big Island beautiful and vibrant for future generations.
We also care deeply about our community. During difficult times, our team volunteers, donates, and stands with local families. Hawaiʻi is more than where we work. It is our home. We believe tourism should strengthen island communities, not strain them. We do everything we can to be a positive force for our home.
